Overview

We will review the value of human capital, addressing the importance of a leader to understand and appreciate differences in how people (gender, race, etc.) think. Our goals will include how to effectively manage human capital, not only to create a better work environment, but to maximize output and productivity.

Why Select this Workshop?

We will explore the critical need to understand 3 vital areas:

  • how we listen and how to listen

  • how we observe and how to observe

  • how we respond and how to respond

How You Lead

This Workshop will be interactive. We will discuss individual vignettes to identify the three vital areas stated above- focusing on how we currently lead and explore opportunities to lead differently. We will contrast great leadership to ineffective leadership.

Takeaways

Great leadership encompasses collaboration (us not me), understanding dissimilar viewpoints (ours not mine) and valuing the contributions of those who think differently (teamwork).
